Higher Degree by Research students at CDU can use iThenticate to check their thesis and other relevant documents they write, such as research proposals, other milestone documents, journal articles, etc.
iThenticate is a text-matching software that helps ensure the originality of an author's work and avoid plagiarism and misconduct. An author can upload their document to iThenticate, and run a "similarity report" to highlight where their work is similar to other published work such as theses, journal articles and webpages. The author can then make any necessary changes to their work to attribute all relevant content accurately.
