Yes. If you have a disability that makes it hard to read, see, hear, or understand material, the university can change it into a format that works for you.
For example, they can:
- Turn text into audio
- Add captions to videos
- Make text larger or screen-reader friendly
They can share this with you online (e.g., via email), and you can use it for study or personal use.
The only limits are:
- The material should only be shared with students who need it
- The university may check if an accessible version already exists before making one
You have access to Read & Write via your student/staff portal. Read & Write is a browser addon with features like text-to-speech and voice dictation (voice-to-text).
