Use the request function to borrow physical resources that are currently unavailable at your current CDU campus. For example, the book is on loan at Casuarina but available in Alice Springs.

Step 1: Using Library Search, find the item by typing the title in double quotation marks or using related keywords. Make sure you are logged-in to your Library account by checking the top-right corner of the page.

Step 2: Click on the relevant title and a pop-up page will show more details about the item.

Step 3: Under the "Get It" subheading, there will be a "Request" link visible to you if you are correctly logged-in to your account. Click on the link and choose your pickup location.

If you live more than 80kms away from our NT campus Libraries or 40kms from Sydney Campus, 'Home Address' should show as your pick up location. If this doesn't happen for you, write us a note about posting the items to you in the comments field.

Step 4: Submit the request. You will receive an email when the item is available for you.

You can check the status of your request in your Library Account. If you have any issues or concerns, please contact us

Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students, postgraduate students and staff are eligible to request items from another university library via the Interlibrary loan service.
